This Jack Hamm Panel depicts the illuminated Christ shining his light and the word upon the Earth. The scripture used is the first half of a Phillips Translation from II Peter 1:4.
The King James Version of the full verse reads:
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust”
Today this can mean that in the divine nature of Jesus we have powers to not be enslaved or led by the false narratives and lies or other things that would try to snare our flesh.
